Requirements:       High School Diploma or equivalent working experience. At least 1-year cooking experience including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook. Good communication skills in English. Work under stress in fast-paced environment. Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures. Familiar with industry best practices. Fast learner, energetic and friendly. Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time. Food Handler Certification (asset only).
Description: Cook and prepare all menu items in accordance to set standards. Stock and maintain proper amounts of food on the line (for service). Monitor product freshness and rotate product based on proper FIFO standards (first in first out). Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment during your shift. Follow and adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines. Work with a team of cooks to do portion and prep work for other shifts. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Flexibility to work rotating shifts from 6:00am – 4:30pm.
Hours per week: Monday - Friday (no wknds) (40) hrs p/week-no weekends
Rate of Pay: $15.00 p/hr to start
