Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience in Condominium bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is, detail-oriented, and has a passion for numbers.
Attention to detail/accuracy.
knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office software, such as Excel, Outlook, Word
Interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team.
Proficient in spreadsheet software and other accounting software.
Ability to understand financial statements and accounting procedures.
QuickBooks a must.
Description:
Oversee multi-entity accounting records.
Maintain financial records and documents.
Prepare financial statements and reports.
Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries.
Identify and correct miscalculations and financial discrepancies.
Accounts payable/accounts receivable- Full Cycle.
Deposits for Operating and Reserve Banks.
Ensure maintenance fees are correct.
Ensure that all cheques and PAP are identified, and entered into QuickBooks
Submissions of PAP's to the bank.
Charge maintenance fees each month and post payments into QuickBooks
Enter Non-Sufficient Funds to unit owners accounts in Software System
Prepare 1st and 2nd month arrears letters and mail.
Debit accounts for chargebacks as specified by property managers.
Review and monitor sub ledger and general ledger accounts.
Enter in Change of ownership into software.
Hours per week:
Monday - Friday
35-40 negotiable
Rate of Pay:
$18.00-25.00 negotiable
