Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Child and Youth Worker/ Behavioral Sciences/ECE (OR that is currently being completed) is preferred.
Experience with children who have autism or other additional needs.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Access to internet/text message on a regular basis.
Ability to work independently.
Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Comfort working in an upbeat team environment.
Energetic, flexible and enthusiastic personality.
Responsible and organized.
The successful candidate must have a valid Ontario driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
Current Vulnerable Sector Screening will be required if selected.
ABA experience is an asset but not a necessity.
Description:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill a part time, permanent, Entry Level position, providing 1:1 ABA therapy for children with autism. Comprehensive, on-site training will be provided for all new staff. This position may lead to full time. Students in process of Behavioural Sciences, Child & Youth Worker or Early Childhood Education programs are welcomed to apply. Placements are welcome.
The candidate chosen will be working in a stimulating team environment at our centre located in Keswick, Ontario.
