Applicants should be ready to keep up with the high-paced demands of a busy landscaping company. • Full G Drivers License required (with a clean driving record) and current auto insurance coverage. This is required whether you use your own vehicle/equipment or the Company’s. • Running small equipment such as backpack blowers, weed whackers & lawn mowers • Operating leaf removal vacuum system • Physical Stamina and the ability to work outdoors for long periods of time • Ability to lift 40 pounds • Self-Motivation • Professionalism • Communication---those with excellent leadership & effective communication skills often become crew leaders or advance to supervisory positions. Description: A Seasonal part-time job, 20 hours a week minimum, from April to November. Serving commercial and residential properties in Markham, North York, Scarborough. Driving the company's vehicle. Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Occasional weekend work may be required with advanced notice. Extension for work from November to April on a Snow Removal Operator position is available. Duties and Responsibilities: • Summer, spring clean ups and fall clean ups • Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns. • Weeding and mulching landscape beds • Trimming small trees, hedges, and shrubs • Removing unwanted, dead, or damaged trees • Planting shrubs, flowers, and trees • Cleaning landscape equipment. • Making stone beds and walls • Other stone work Hours per week: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
