Requirements:
RESPONSIBILITY
• Safely operate a company cargo van
• Pick up fruits from wholesaler and deliver to festival site
• Pickup equipment from warehouse and delivery to festival site
• Ensure adequate supply of consumables (ice, water, syrup, etc.) packed for each festival
• Restock supplies per festival booth requirements
• Assist with festival operations during peak hours (lunch and dinner time)
• Assist with setup and teardown of festival booth
• Return equipment and fruits at end of festival to warehouse
• Fuel truck and prepare for following week’s festivals
Description:
is seeking delivery drivers to bring fruits and equipment to festival sites using a company provided van, as well as assisting with festival operations. Benefits include above average starting salary of $17-20/hr plus bonus, complimentary fresh fruits and fruit juice, free lunch and dinner, free entrance of ticketed festivals, and typically working only 3 days per week (Friday-Sunday) for full time hours.
Successful candidates must be able and willing to travel throughout GTA and surrounding cities, such as Burlington, Barrie, Aurora, Kitchener-Waterloo, St. Catherines, Whitby, etc. Festivals where we have a presence includes the Toronto Dragon Boat Festival, the Richmond Hill Rib Fest, Canada Day in Barrie, Orangeville Rib Fest, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
• Class G License
• Clean driving record
• Experience driving a cargo van
• Able to lift heavy load (25kg)
• Ability to work independently and have good time management and organization skills
• Maintain effective communications with festival staff and management
• Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting of fruits and equipment
