Requirements: Candidates must be available to work on Thursday and Friday evenings and weekends (no late nights)
Must have a Valid food handlers certificate.
2-5 years of experience is preferred.
Must work well independently, but also strong team player.
Must obtain a vulnerable sector screening check as part of background check.
Description: Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required.
Assist chefs and waitstaff as required, especially during peak hours.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
Escalate major issues when necessary (e.g. safety risks, equipment failure)
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Oversee kitchen operations.
Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment.
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation.
Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary.
Other duties as requested.
