Requirements: Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or similar role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration or Accounting are a plus.
Experience in the residential and commercial development industry is preferred but not required.
Description: Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the office.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and presentations.
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of documents.
Assist in the preparation and processing of documents such as contracts, invoices, and purchase orders.
Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers as necessary.
Assist in coordinating office events, meetings, and conferences.
Provide general administrative support to staff and management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Perform bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable records.
Prepare and submit monthly financial reports and statements.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Hours per week: Monday - Friday 40
