Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Project Manager related Earthworks experience and a college degree.
Good communications skills, both oral and written.
Great attitude.
Ability to be a team leader under challenging conditions.
Proven problem-solving ability and ability to manage multiple task.
Description: Supervise and coordinate earthworks activities, including site grading, excavation, backfilling, and compaction, to prepare sites for construction.
Interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and coordinate work accordingly.
Plan and schedule earthworks activities, equipment, and manpower to meet project deadlines and budgetary constraints.
Conduct pre-construction site assessments to evaluate soil conditions, drainage patterns, and environmental considerations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe equipment operation, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Monitor and inspect earthmoving equipment to ensure it is maintained in good working condition and meets safety standards.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during earthworks operations.
Maintain accurate records of earthworks activities, including daily reports, equipment logs, and material quantities.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, inspectors, and regulatory agencies, to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
