Number: 708 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Stouffville Requirements: • Assist experienced Floor Installers with the installation of various types of flooring materials • Learn how to measure and cut flooring materials to fit the dimensions of the installation area • Prepare subfloor surfaces for installation by assisting with removal of old flooring, leveling, and cleaning • Gain hands-on experience in installing flooring materials according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications • Assist with ensuring proper alignment and spacing of flooring materials • Learn how to trim and finish flooring edges for a clean and professional appearance • Participate in inspections of completed installations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate work and address any concerns Description: No prior experience required; we will provide comprehensive training • Positive attitude and willingness to learn • Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment • Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation • Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends Hours per week: Monday - Friday 40 Rate of Pay: Contact: Sandra Fagundes Telephone: 905-640-3909 Fax: Email: sfagundes@jobskills.org
