Requirements: Mut be self-motivated, reliable team player. Must have good customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, which will include lifting and loading/unloading large/heavy items. The driver/ hauling crew member is responsible for driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) as well as removing and disposing of unwanted goods from customers' homes and businesses. The driver should have general knowledge of functional support areas, including the core business, customer service, sales, and CMV.
• A high-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least a 3 year driving history (personal or commercial) is required.
• 21 years of age or older is required.
Description: Junk Removal Duties:
• Safely, responsibly, and professionally operates the CMV's and monitors their functionality.
• Responsible for checking and monitor truck fluid levels and basic functionality.
• Organizing and securing truck at the end of each job and ensures truck and equipment is maintained in a clean, safe and professional manner.
• Conduct pre/post trip truck inspections and "haul-a-way" equipment inventory.
• Safely remove any unwanted items from the customers' home or business by utilizing all of the proper hauling equipment and techniques and following the necessary prescribed policies
• Must be in a clean, approved company uniform at all times without exception.
• Maintain a positive image of our company by ensuring proper hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with the policies laid out in the employee handbook and/or presented by management.
• Participates in regular training and development programs offered through STICK MEN U N IVERSITY• to further the knowledge of the system.
• Other duties as assigned by franchisee, operations manager, move manager and/or office manager.
Sales & Marketing Duties:
• Deliver exceptional customer service as you provide on-site junk removal estimates.
• Accurately estimates the charges for services onsite based on items to be removed and completes all "haul-a-way" related paperwork and responsible for making sure paperwork and revenues collected are properly dropped in safe at the end of the workday.
• Make product recommendations to customers and upsell services as needed.
• Provide top level customer services to build on our strong brand image.
• Deliver marketing materials to targeted focus areas and participation in unique marketing activities.
