Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily farm operations, encompassing the care of animals, cultivation of crops, and maintenance of farm facilities.
- Operate machinery and equipment proficiently and safely.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks on equipment and infrastructure.
- Monitor farm operations and promptly report any issues or anomalies to the Farm Manager.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards while carrying out tasks.
- Collaborate closely with fellow team members to ensure seamless task completion and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in farm work is an asset.
- Familiarity or experience with farm operations is advantageous; however, we are willing train.
- Possession of a reliable vehicle for commuting to the farm location is required.
- Proficiency in English, encompassing speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Capability to commit to a full-time, long-term position.
- Availability to work occasional weekends as necessary.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and adeptness in working independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Physical stamina and resilience to undertake manual labor in diverse weather conditions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working on a farm
- Experience using tractors, skid steers, mini-excavators, chainsaw
-Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Description:
Seeking a dedicated Game Farm Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a farm or relevant experience and must possess a reliable vehicle as there is no public transportation available to the farm location.
Hours per week:
Monday - Friday ( Weekends as needed )
