Must be able to work in fast-paced environment Must be able to lift heavy weights and stand on feet for long periods of time. Previous experience as a cook and food handler's certificate will have special consideration. Description: Fast food restaurant is looking for a responsible, reliable cook. Position includes such tasks such as: Maintain food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils. Manage sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas. Run large volume cooking equipment like grills, deep fat fryers and griddles. Cook and serve food and beverages as per order slips. Read food order slips and receive verbal instructions required by patron and cook as per instructions. Ensure prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements. Clean, cut and prepare foods for cooking. Wash, stock and restock workstations. Order and take supplies delivery. Hours per week: includes weekend and evening shifts 20 - 30 Rate of Pay: $17.60/hr
