Requirements: Early Childhood Education diploma or degree. Valid Standard First Aid CPR level C Certificate. Registered member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children. Strong knowledge of child development and early learning principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Vulnerable Sector Check received within the last 6 months or will require a new one. 2 Step Tb testing to be completed and have an up to date Immunization Record. English Speaking Requirement. Second language (FRENCH) an advantage. Reggio Emilia approach experience is needed (Training Can be provided). Any additional skills (Music, Art, Sports, Science, etc.) considered an asset.
Description: Our childcare center in Bond Head is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a deep understanding of child development, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Daily Reporting and Record Keeping. Attendance, Allergy, Medication, Communication Logs. Plan and develop program webs in line with children's interests. Monthly calendars will be provided so that teachers are able to create a program that meets all targets to engage all children. Programming must be child directed, and teacher supported in accordance with "How Does Learning Happen?" Support children with emotional, physical, or behavioral problems and help develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills. Provide support for children in the classroom and enable them to fully participate in activities. Maintain up-to-date emergency cards, attendance, and health and safety checks. Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary. Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms, program reporting. Manage and maintain an orderly classroom - follow cleaning schedules and room routines. Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA. Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Rate of Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
