• Reliable transportation for punctual arrival at work • Able to work a flexible full-time schedule • Strong ability to multi – task and work in fast-paced environment • Positive and energetic attitude with an ambitious drive • Proficient in MS office, Computer and Internet applications • Knowledge of Social Media is an asset • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to demonstrate both written and verbal persuasiveness • Knowledge of interview procedures, fixing appointments, and follow-ups • Knowledge of Hindi and Punjabi languages is an asset • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software. • Ability to deal with frequent changes to priorities or unexpected events. • Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external key employees and clients. • Knowledge of accounting is an asset
Description: This position reports to the School Director and is responsible for reception & office administration activities including client service and filing, documentation, providing college tours to prospective students, and assisting with bookkeeping as needed. •Taking calls from all potential students and clients interested in knowing or receiving information about the education programs or services offered at National Institute •Maintaining the information database for students and clients •Maintaining all records as required by Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities under the Private Career Colleges Act 2005 •Maintain all records as required by Brampton City and Provincial & Federal Governments •Maintain all records in accordance with School Policies & Procedures and ensure timely collection of tuition fees from students as per student contracts •Maintain School supplies, including housekeeping •Encouraging prospective students to schedule an appointment for a consultation with admissions officer •Students and clients follow-ups by making outbound calls •Maintain student academic and financial files and Instructors files •Returning web inquiries and calls promptly to all potential students and providing them with accurate information about the programs requested •Making outbound phone calls to potential students who have expressed interest in attending the institution
•Initiating unsolicited leads and generate new business when not responding to outstanding inquiries or working with current prospects or students •Following up with all interviews that did not progress in the enrollment process and dropped/cancelled students to resolve any issues or address concerns. •Maintains full knowledge of the institution programs and services catalogue so as to be able to fully explain all course offerings and varied services offered in clinics to prospective students and clients •Greet all visitors courteously and professionally. •Updating school director with day-to-day activities
•Assist in preparing for seminars, events, open houses, etc •Work as a team with the college staff to ensure excellent business operations
•Work with the Director to post staff or student announcements and coordinate staff meetings
Hours per week: Monday-Friday 40
Rate of Pay: $18/hr
