Requirements: Working on filling/capping/labeling equipment in consumer good manufacturing a priority.
• Experience in pharma, health and beauty, or food industries will be advantageous.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 to 4-year of relevant working experience.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of electrical PLC components. Certification will be advantageous.
• Experience in planning maintenance operations.
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical systems, etc.
• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight timelines and achieve results, while maintaining high quality.
Description: • Repairs and maintains machinery on manufacturing equipment on the production floor.
• Set up production lines to run products as specified. Capabilities to include but not limited to mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Works on all work centers within the production and compounding areas and/or where needed as directed by supervisor.
• Change over filling, capping, labeling, bundling, packing equipment for production runs.
• Starts equipment and devices to test their performance.
• Dismantles production and manufacturing equipment and devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, install new or repaired parts, and reassemble the equipment and ensure production standard rates
• Follows required Preventative Maintenance schedule by repairing defective parts, installing special functional and structural parts in equipment or devices, and lubricating and cleaning of parts and or equipment.
• Assists the production and manufacturing personnel in the training for correct set up an operation of equipment.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Assists in the training of other mechanics/maintenance personnel.
• Assists in assessing and maintaining a safe work environment in the production areas by performing routine self-audits and reporting the results to the supervisor.
• Performs routine maintenance on other facility equipment located in production or manufacturing
