Description:
Drink Preparation:
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes or customer preferences.
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of drinks.
Customer Service:
Interact with customers in a friendly and engaging manner.
Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies.
Assist with ordering and restocking as needed.
Cash Handling:
Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and tabs.
Maintain an accurate cash drawer and provide change as necessary.
Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Ensure all equipment and tools are sanitized and in good working order.
Knowledge of Alcohol Laws:
Understand and comply with local laws and regulations regarding alcohol service.
Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of customers.
Event Coordination:
Assist in planning and executing special events or promotions.
Prepare for large gatherings by setting up the bar area and stocking necessary supplies.
Customer Safety:
Monitor customers for signs of intoxication and intervene when necessary.
Promote responsible drinking and offer alternatives for those who need them.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other staff members, such as servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service.
Communicate effectively to handle any customer issues or special requests.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on drink trends, new products, and mixology techniques.
Participate in training sessions or workshops to improve skills.
