Description: Greeting Guests:
Warmly welcome customers as they enter the restaurant.
Escort guests to their tables and present menus.

Menu Presentation:
Provide detailed descriptions of menu items and daily specials.
Answer any questions about ingredients, preparation methods, or dietary restrictions.

Order Taking:
Accurately take food and beverage orders using a notepad or POS system.
Repeat orders back to customers to confirm accuracy.

Food and Beverage Service:
Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring the correct order is delivered.
Monitor tables to refill drinks and respond to additional requests.

Customer Interaction:
Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
Address any concerns or complaints swiftly and professionally.

Payment Processing:
Present bills and process payments accurately.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and tips responsibly.

Table Maintenance:
Clear and reset tables quickly between guests to ensure a smooth flow.
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping down tables and sweeping floors.

Collaboration with Staff:
Work closely with kitchen staff to communicate orders and special requests.
Coordinate with other servers to ensure efficient service during busy times.

Knowledge of Policies:
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food safety practices.
Follow restaurant policies regarding alcohol service and age verification.

Promotions and Upselling:
Inform customers about special promotions or menu items.
Upsell food and drink items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.

Handling Special Requests:
Accommodate special dietary needs or allergies, ensuring that the kitchen is informed.
Provide personalized service to regular customers or special occasions.

Assisting with Events:
Help prepare for special events, banquets, or private parties.
Provide tailored service for large groups or special occasions.

Ongoing Training:
Participate in training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and service techniques.
Share knowledge with new staff and assist in their onboarding process.
