Requirements: We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Dishwasher to join our restaurant team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen and dining equipment, ensuring that our culinary team can work efficiently and serve our guests high-quality meals. Key Responsibilities: Dishwashing: Efficiently wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment and/or by hand. Cleaning Duties: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and cleaning surfaces. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure dishwashing machines and sinks are clean and in good working condition. Report any issues to the kitchen manager. Stock Organization: Assist in organizing and restocking kitchen supplies and utensils as needed. Support Kitchen Staff: Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly. Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Maintain cleanliness of staff washroom. Update store supervisor of cleaning material inventory.
Description: Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Hours per week: Flexible 20hrs +
