Description:
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator will be responsible for the collection of all accounts receivable, entering into the system, approving and analyzing all deductions, development and maintenance of national customer files, as well as the balancing of cash flow. Other responsibilities will include the resolution of any invoice discrepancies, creating reporting on the sales team errors, and reconciliation of Accounts Receivable statements. • Communicate with National accounts and sub-distributors; clients and customers on outstanding unauthorized deductions. This includes understanding the process for requesting and collecting repayment of invalid deductions, identifying trends and resolving issues that cause invalid deductions.
•Monitor, approve and maintain all deductions taken by customers based on an understanding of Trade Contracts and scheduled programs/activities on a daily basis •Process credit notes, debit notes and or freight claims (if applicable) •Set up customer profiles and obtain credit references on new customers. •Maintain permanent customer file including credit history, correspondence and changes in information •Design reporting and feedback to sales team (routes / drivers) to improve controls and reduce error rates. •Key partner with IT on EDI including process design and oversight. •Create reports as needed. •As the company evolves, additional duties and responsibilities can be included.
