Number: 852 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: North York Requirements: Job Overview: As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care and support to residents, including seniors and individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. This role requires a high level of empathy, dedication, and effective communication skills to meet our clients' needs. Key Responsibilities: • Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. • Support clients with mobility and exercise, as directed by healthcare professionals. • Monitor clients’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns to the healthcare team. • Help with light household tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle will be an asset since the employer will be offering services to multiple locations around the GTA (Markham, Richmond Hill, North York, Stouffville). Description: Qualifications: • A valid certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). • Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) speakers preferred. • Graduate from a college-level institution with a diploma in Practical Nursing. • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in transitional care. • Strong clinical skills and a solid understanding of nursing practices. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
