Requirements:
You have at least 5 years of experience working with new and old production equipment and are comfortable with the direct maintenance and repair of this production equipment.
You manage your workspace and the maintenance space with an organized mindset – and safety and project organization are some of your key skills! •This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and has you working with many facets of the organization – including Engineering, Planning, Operations, and Quality departments as you and the above departments are responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and facilities. •You are a collaborative team member who has experience with implementation of new Projects as well as the repair and maintenance of modified production machines. •You are a strong communicator and a Certified Millwright, with a valid skilled trade certificate and/ or relevant industrial experience in this direct line of business •You love working with your hands and have superior technical skills regarding the maintenance, installation and repair of PLC / CNC control and logic systems, as well as experience with Pneumatics, Machine Repair, Electrical and Hydraulic Systems and Mechanical Assembly •You are comfortable with spot welding and basic manual machining •You have at least 5 – 7 years of experience with high volume manufacturing and a strong understanding of Automotive Systems and QS9000 quality requirements. As well as you have had hands on experience with the direct repair and maintenance of CNC machining and automated assembly applications.
Description:
As a Seasoned Industrial Millwright, you are laser focused when it comes to Industry Quality Standards and have a strong knowledge and understanding of ISO/TS 16949 system procedures, including the maintaining and refurbishing of equipment – some of the experience that you offer is the maintenance and repair of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical assemblies. You have an expert knowledge of CNC and PLC equipment, and facility equipment found within a production environment.
