Requirements:
•You have at least 5 years of practical experience •A valid Certificate of Apprenticeship, and a valid Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) in good standing with the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities. •Strong Computer skills including Microsoft as well as experience using an EAM Computerized Maintenance Management System. •Must possess a good understanding of safety practices as mandated under the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Description:
This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical issues within industry equipment and performing repairs. What the Role Requires: •You are a clear communicator and team player who offers strong hands-on experience with the of pumps, valves, electric and pneumatic components. You have worked on industrial motors, gears, hydraulics, mechanical drives and you offer a comprehensive knowledge and an understanding of the working and repairs of this, and other related equipment using Operating & Maintenance (O&M) manuals as well as product / machine diagrams and schematics •You are comfortable assessing and troubleshooting industrial / mechanical equipment and recommending the best course of action regarding the repair / pathway for maintenance, or replacement of equipment. •Interprets Operating & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, diagrams, schematics, prints and recommends revisions •You are comfortable organizing / coordinating a team of internal partners and external contractors to assist with the maintenance or repairs to equipment and you are comfortable with performing industry Quality Measures, so that it meets and exceeds all industry and regional standards •You have previous experience using such industry tools like computerized maintenance management systems •Performs welding, pipe fitting and rigging and you ensure all work complies with Safety Standards and all Applicable codes •Ensure the requirements of the Quality Management System, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
Hours per week:
Monday-Friday / Weekend Availability (Continental 12-hour shift rotation of days and nights) on a permanent basis.)
