Requirements:
•3-5 years’ experience in acrylic fabrication, including a superior knowledge of gluing techniques used in acrylics and plastics is required •Previous manufacturing experience is an asset, including machine operating skills •Flexibility with working rotating shifts •You are able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment and are comfortable using instructions and guidelines in order to meet and exceed quality standards •You love working with peers collaboratively in a team environment to display your excellence in craftmanship and skills in Plastics and Acrylic Fabricating
Description:
Looking to grow their team of cabinet makers and mill working professionals with the addition of a Plastic Fabricator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. You have worked with polymers and plastics and love watching drawing and specifications come to life in the form of Art! Do you love challenging projects working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Then this may be the next career step for you and your creative talent! What’s The Responsibilities of the Role: •We are looking for someone with a background and experience with the assembly and finishing of plastic components used in furniture and fixtures. •You are comfortable with using machinery as well as your hands to tool, shape cut and form components to fit and create parts used in high end furniture fixtures. •This includes assembly of composite plastics material using specifications and patterns. You understand bonding of materials and plastics to make seams that will be ground and finished. •You are comfortable using grinders and buffing materials – inspecting to make sure that are products are free of defects, and you take pride in your work and can examine all seams to make sure that the exceed corporate standards for quality – using instrumentation and through visual inspection and you maintain and clean all machinery, materials and products according to corporate standards
