Skills & Abilities:
Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing and labeling.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
Basic math skills for counting and checking order quantities.
Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (typically 20-50 lbs, depending on the job).
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Safety Awareness:
Knowledge of basic safety protocols and use of equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.), especially in warehouse settings.
Willingness to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Key Responsibilities:
Product Inspection:
Inspect items for quality, damage, or defects before packing.
Ensure the correct product is being packed based on order specifications.
Report any damaged or defective items to supervisors or management.
Packing Products:
Pack products into boxes, crates, or other containers according to specifications.
Ensure that each item is packed securely to prevent damage during transportation.
Use packing materials such as bubble wrap, foam, packing peanuts, and cardboard dividers to protect items.
Labeling and Documentation:
Attach labels or tags to boxes with the correct shipping information, including order numbers, addresses, and other required details.
Fill out packing slips or inventory forms to ensure that all packed items are properly accounted for.
Ensure that the packing process aligns with shipping guidelines (e.g., weight limits, special handling instructions).
Maintaining Packing Area:
Keep the packing area clean, organized, and free from clutter.
Ensure that all packing materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap, etc.) are stocked and available.
Dispose of packing waste and materials appropriately.
Inventory Management:
Assist with inventory control by accurately counting and tracking packed goods.
Update inventory records as items are packed and shipped.
Monitor stock levels of packing supplies and notify supervisors when materials need replenishing.
Assembly of Products (if required):
Some packing roles may require assembly of products before packing. For example, assembling kits or putting together components of a product.
Shipping Preparation:
Ensure that packed boxes are placed in the appropriate shipping area.
Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure that all packed items are ready for dispatch on time.
Assist with loading items onto trucks or preparing them for courier pickup.
Compliance and Safety:
Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment (e.g., use of personal protective equipment, correct lifting techniques).
Adhere to company standards for packing, labeling, and shipping.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor immediately.
Meeting Productivity Targets:
Maintain packing speed and accuracy to meet daily or weekly productivity goals.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure that deadlines are met.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues with products or packing processes.
