Ability to follow safety procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitizing.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.

Good communication skills, particularly in reporting cleaning progress or concerns to supervisors.
Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Disinfecting:
Sanitize and clean various areas, including high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, handrails, countertops, and communal areas.
Disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques.
Clean and sanitize floors, windows, walls, and ceilings, as well as furniture and fixtures.
Use disinfectants and cleaning agents according to safety guidelines to eliminate germs, bacteria, and viruses.
Maintaining Hygiene Standards:
Ensure all cleaning equipment, including mops, brooms, and cloths, are properly sanitized before use.
Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas are consistently sanitized.
Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary hygiene supplies, such as hand sanitizers, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Waste Management:
Empty trash cans and dispose of waste according to company protocols.
Ensure waste bins are cleaned and sanitized regularly to maintain hygiene.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as outlined by the company, local health departments, and regulatory agencies.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and aprons while performing cleaning duties.
Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to a supervisor.
Ensure that cleaning chemicals are stored safely and used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Restocking Supplies:
Monitor inventory of cleaning products and report the need for replenishment to management.
Restock cleaning supplies, hand sanitizers, paper towels, and other hygiene products in designated areas.
Monitoring Hygiene Practices:
Monitor and ensure that other employees and visitors follow hygiene protocols, including the use of hand sanitizers and maintaining cleanliness in shared areas.
Maintain cleanliness in both public-facing and employee-only areas.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuums, floor scrubbers, and disinfectant sprayers) is in good working condition.
Clean and maintain the sanitizing tools and machines to ensure they are functioning properly.
Record Keeping (if applicable):
Complete cleaning logs or checklists to track completed tasks.
Report on cleaning activities to supervisors or managers as needed.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to [specify weight, e.g., 25 lbs].
Requires frequent walking, bending, standing, and the ability to work on feet for extended periods.
