5+ years of experience in talent attraction, employer branding, recruitment marketing, digital marketing, or a related strategic role. Experience managing vendor relationships and building workforce planning strategies is a plus.

Vendor Management Expertise: Proven experience managing external vendors, setting KPIs, and ensuring accountability to deliver measurable results.

Strong project management skills with the ability to develop playbooks, create repeatable processes, and train teams to implement best practices.

Analytical mindset to assess workforce data, monitor vendor performance and campaign results, and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.

Creativity and innovation in developing new approaches to attract talent, including leveraging job-sharing platforms, events, and local outreach opportunities.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Tech-savvy with a working knowledge of recruitment platforms, digital tools, AI-powered solutions, and social media to optimize outreach.
Description: Position Overview:
The Talent Attraction and Sourcing Specialist will play a key role in shaping and promoting our employer brand, creating compelling recruitment marketing content and enhancing our social media presence to attract top talent. The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments, overseeing vendor partnerships and leading forward-thinking talent attraction strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Talent Attraction Leadership: Lead the design and execution of forward-thinking talent attraction strategies, leveraging workforce planning insights, historical data, and market trends. Develop and implement actionable plans to attract top talent across all levels of the organization.

Vendor Management & Optimization: Oversee relationships with external vendors (e.g., job boards, sourcing tools, advertising platforms), setting clear KPIs, holding partners accountable for performance, and staying informed about evolving tools, offerings, and technologies to maximize ROI.

Deliverables & Enablement: Build and maintain comprehensive playbooks for sourcing strategies, job-sharing platforms, and community partnerships. Enable Talent Acquisition Partners to become stronger advocates for candidates, enhancing hiring effectiveness and improving the overall candidate experience.

Brand Elevation & Market Positioning: Strengthen GFL’s employer brand by ensuring our opportunities resonate with diverse audiences and reflect our values and culture. Expand our visibility through targeted outreach, events, and alternative sourcing channels, positioning GFL as an employer of choice in the marketplace.

Optimization, Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor the performance of talent attraction tools, vendor deliverables, and initiatives. Provide actionable recommendations for improvement and ensure alignment with business goals. Own weekly reporting and adjustment of strategies to drive measurable results.

Collaboration & Innovation: Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Talent Acquisition, HR, Marketing, and Operations) to align talent strategies with organizational priorities. Identify and implement innovative solutions to reach talent where they are and meet hiring demands efficiently.
