Number: 137 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Tweed Requirements: Eligible to work in Canada & certified in Ontario or be an Internationally trained nurse. Willing to relocate to rural areas of Ontario. Willing to start from February 1, 2025. Able to commit to a 2-year contract to have a pathway to permanent residence in Canada. Willing to share accommodations provided by MedEx. Willing to pay for accommodation expenses which will be at minimum one-third of monthly salary (to be discussed at the time of interview; competitive hourly rates). Description: Personal Support Workers (PSWs) perform the following duties:Activities of Daily Living (ADL): Feeding, transfers, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, toileting. Delegated Tasks: Perform tasks delegated by a Regulated Health Professional (RHP), including procedures under the dermis, with physician's prescription. Medication Assistance: Assist with medication and reminders in line with employer or government policies. Light Housekeeping: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dishwashing, and laundry. Continuous Observation: Monitor individuals and environments, report changes or unsafe conditions. Communication and Demonstration: Convey basic information per the Plan of Care, covering daily living, housekeeping, and meal preparation. Record Keeping: Maintain records, including communication books and progress notes. Hours per week: Rate of Pay: 21.00
