Requirements:
Minimum two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in a related role.
Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience is required.
Experience in the administration of training courses/programs is an asset.
Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask, prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with ability to work with employees at all levels.
Ability to approach problems logically, under pressure and seek innovative solutions.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage large volumes of data.
Ability to act as an ambassador and promote the organization’s training and skills development agenda.
Self-motivated, team player with strong professionalism and business acumen.
Description:
The Training & Skills Development Coordinator will administer tasks utilizing various software tools to support the training and development of our workforce. Reporting to the Director, HSEQ&T, the incumbent will use their strong communication and organizational skills to effectively interface with various teams within the company.
Responsibilities:
Manage apprenticeship program through scheduling school and training sessions, apprentice meetings, evaluations, and maintaining training records.
Coordinate various departmental meetings and conference calls as requested, and record and distribute meeting minutes as required.
Assist with the creation of reports as required by the Director-HSEQ&T.
Coordinate administration of necessary paperwork (Payroll Change Notices, IT requests, etc.)
Schedule training (internal and external) and maintain record keeping systems for all training documents and internal and external training certificates including training matrix.
Assist with onboarding of new employees as required.
Develop and deliver general training.
Assist with internal audits (COR, ISO:9001, ISO:45001)Assist with internal and external reporting, and maintain reporting records.
Other related duties as required.
