Job Title: Tactical Security Guards - Malls and Colleges   Date Posted: 01/17/25 Ref. Number: 304 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Mississauga Requirements: • Valid Ontario Security License • Must be able to work 24/7 on continental rotational shifts basis (days, evening, overnights, weekends and holidays) • Must be available to work 40-44hrs per week • Minimum of 1 year experience in Tactical security – preference to Canadian environment • Valid Ontario Driver’s License (G or G2 Class) with clean driver’s abstract • Access to own transportation – preferred • First Aid/CPR Level C • Must have education consisting of Law and Security Administration, Police Foundations, Special Investigations or Criminology. • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, emails, typing ) • Excellent verbal/written communication skills • Excellent Customer Service Experience Description: Answering and making work related phone calls. Reviewing and responding to work related emails. Answering questions and aiding people in need. Knowledge of the property and nearby amenities. Knowledge of the client’s policies and procedures. Knowledge of relevant criminal codes and by-laws. Ensuring the safety and security of the property and its occupants. Identifying and reporting Safety Hazards. Professionally enforcing rule infractions. Responding to critical incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Conducting regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the premises. Securing restricted areas. Monitoring security cameras. Use of computers, two-way radios and building automation systems. Conducting Audits of building equipment and keys. Providing access and issuing keys to contractors, when authorized. Completion of Incident Reports and memo book entries. Contacting Paragon Security, the client, or emergency services depending on the incident. Hours per week: Monday-Friday / Weekend Availability (days, evening, overnights, weekends and holidays) 40+ Rate of Pay: TBD
