Job Title: COP (Car Operating Panel) Assembler   Date Posted: 01/20/25 Ref. Number: 314 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Mississauga Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent experience • At least 2 years of experience in assembly work • At least 1 year of Manufacturing experience (custom production or electrical) • Read schematics and drawings • Demonstrated dexterity and ability to perform complex assemblies • Medium to highly detail-oriented • Experience with electrical fixtures component manufacturing preferred • Able to lift up to 50lbs (assisted if needed) • A clear background check for criminal and/or credit is required Description: Perform assembly of elevator car operating panel by referencing related CAD schematics and drawings. Key Responsibilities: 1. Correctly identify components and accurately interpret assembly drawings 2. Assemble products within specified period the of time 3. Utilize manual hand and power tools efficiently 4. Effectively inspect assemblies visually and with designated measuring devices 5. Identify non-conformances. 6. Complete shop records accurately 7. Demonstrate low absenteeism and punctuality 8. Communicates well with colleagues and team leader 9. Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently 10. Detail-oriented and accurate in a fast-paced environment 11. Ability to work with minimal supervision 12. Other duties as assigned 13. Able to lift up to 50lbs; may work in hot areas 15%, noise 5% 14. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area Hours per week: Monday to Thursday 4:00 pm to 1:00 am, Friday 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm 40 Rate of Pay: TBD
