Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, demonstrating strong bookkeeping skills.
Experience with accounting software such as Sage 50.
Knowledge of bank reconciliation, account analysis, accounts payable, payroll, and budgeting processes.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
CB or CPB certification would be considered an asset.
Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring
compliance with accounting standards. This role is crucial for the smooth operaon of our financial
acvies and requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
Utilize accounting software such as Sage 50 for maintaining financial records.
Execute account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of transactions.
Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employees.
Support budgeting efforts by providing accurate financial data and forecasts.
Maintain organized financial files and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
Answering and directing phone calls in a professional manner.
Managing and organizing office correspondence, including emails and physical mail.
Scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders as necessary.
Preparing and generang shipping documents, including labels, invoices, and packing slips.
Coordinating the shipment and receipt of packages.
Handling client inquiries and providing customer service support.
Ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient office environment.
Assisting with onboarding and training of new staff.
Supporting the team with administrative tasks as needed.
