Job Title: Landscape Design Coordinator (LDC)   Date Posted: 02/13/25 Ref. Use machinery, equipment, tools etc. only as authorized and in a safe manner. Report known defective equipment or protective devices that may be hazardous. Report any suspected workplace hazards to employer or supervisor. Report all injuries and accidents to employer or supervisor, no matter how minor. Cooperate with health and safety committee members. Description: The LDC will, in cooperation with all other Sheridan Nurseries employees, strive to promote the best interest of the company. The LDC is primarily responsible for assisting guests with purchasing product to complete their Landscape Design plans by filling orders for plants and materials and arranging for planting and/or delivery as needed. The LDC will assist with coordinating and pulling orders for contractors and businesses. The LDC will actively sell and provide product knowledge on all Nursery and Seasonal Plant department products including trees, shrubs, evergreens, roses, vines, annuals and perennials. The LDC will be expected to assist sales staff with selling our guests the complete solution by attempting to add-on a companion item to every purchase. The LDC will strive to ensure that each guest at Sheridan Nurseries receives a level of service that exceeds their expectations. The LDC will actively support and participate in health and safety programs. The LDC will work weekends, evenings and holidays on a reasonable rotational basis as scheduled.
