• Experience with home appliances and proficiency in French are a plus.
• Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Description: We are a leading home appliance manufacturer seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Field Marketing Specialist to support our field marketing efforts across the country. This critical role will be responsible for managing a third-party field team that executes in-store merchandising, training, and promotional activities. The Field Marketing Specialist will play a crucial part in maximizing brand visibility, driving sales, and ensuring optimal product presentation at key retail locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Field Team Management:
oPlan and manage the day-to-day activities of a high-performing third-party team of field representatives;
o Set clear performance goals, track progress, and provide regular feedback;
o Monitor team performance against key metrics (e.g., in-store execution rates, compliance, productivity, training completion rates);
o Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and training materials, including swag and POP;
• In-Store Execution:
o Oversee the execution of in-store marketing programs, including:
Ensuring accurate product placement and visibility on the sales floor, Implementing point-of-sale (POP) materials and marketing collateral effectively, Conducting brief training sessions with retail sales associates on product features and benefits, Conduct regular store audits to assess compliance with merchandising standards,
Identify and address any in-store execution gaps.
• Sales Data Analysis & Reporting:
o Collaborate with key cross-functional partners across marketing and sales;
o Analyze sales data at the store level to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement;
o Investigate the root causes of performance gaps, develop corrective action plans, and track the impact of field marketing activities;
o Prepare regular reports on field team performance, in-store execution, and sales results.
• Retailer Training:
o Develop and deliver impactful training programs for retail sales associates on product features, benefits, and selling techniques;
o Collaborate with retailers to schedule and conduct in-store training sessions;
o Track and analyze training effectiveness and completion rates.
• Retailer Collaboration:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners;
o Collaborate with retailers to plan and execute joint marketing initiatives;
o Conduct store audits and training sessions as required by retailers;
o Attend retailer conferences and shows to engage with store managers and franchisees, support pre-show planning and post-show reporting.
• Travel:
o Occasional travel required to conduct store visits, attend industry events, and provide on-site support.
Hours per week: 40 - 44 hours per week
