Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
•
Completion of a Personal Support Worker (PSW) program
•
Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a PSW
•
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
•
Clean Vulnerable Sector Check
•
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•
Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with disabilities
•
Ability to perform the essential duties of the job, which may include lifting, transferring, and assisting clients with mobility
Description:
Working Hours: Depending on the need of the Client; Minimum 3 hours per Client
Salary Range: $18 per hour

Job Description
The employer is looking for competent, caringand compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSW) to become a member of our team and contribute to our mission of providing specialized, quality care to clients across Ontario. CareProvide PSWs offer a range of medical services that help seniors and injured individuals settle down or heal in the privacy of their own homes.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Comprehensive Assistance of Daily Living (ADLs)

Shower and Personal Hygiene Management

Mobility Assistance & Simple Exercises

Personal Care Assistance

Certified Medication Assistance

Hoyer Lift Transfer

Companionship and conversation

Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

Medication and appointment reminders
