This role involves performing both simple and complex laboratory procedures while ensuring compliance with AABB, FACT, and Health Canada regulations. Key Responsibilities • Process and test cord blood and cord tissue samples • Perform cryopreservation and maintain inventory of cryopreserved products • Ensure proficiency in aseptic techniques • Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment • Order, receive, and maintain inventory of supplies and reagents • Maintain and prepare laboratory reports and ensure accurate record-keeping • Assist in quality control, validation, and competency assessments • Train and orient new laboratory staff as assigned • Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reports, and other technical documents • Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations Hours per week: 20 Rate of Pay: TBA
