Requirements:
We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our Purchasing team.
The ideal candidate must be eager to learn and grow within the team. Experience in manufacturing and SAP is an asset but not required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Prepare RFQs and work with vendors to gather quotes.
Complete and maintain Purchase Orders and associated documents.
Create, maintain and update documents and internal database records.
Follow up with vendors on delivery dates and arrange shipments.
Coordinating with different departments regarding orders.
Work experience, negotiation skills, and common sense is more valued for this position than educational accomplishments.
