Number: 372 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Scarborough Requirements: ● Set up any lighting rigs the lighting technicians need ● Set up and operate any other non-electrical lighting equipment, like diffusing materials or gobos (stencils placed on the lights to control the shape of the lighting) ● Equipment handling Description: Grips shape the light. Includes creating pattern and shadow effects, coloring light, diffusing light or blocking light. Grips provide the lights to create the quality of light that the gaffer desires. They also provide a variety of special rigging, securing and safety measures on set. Hours per week: Monday-Friday / Weekend Availability 40+ Rate of Pay: $18/hr
