• Experience:
o Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA or professional services firm.
o Knowledge of personal tax preparation and Canadian tax laws is essential.
• Skills:
o Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software.
o Strong understanding of GST/HST, payroll systems, and compliance requirements.
o Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
o Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Description: Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper with strong knowledge of the Canadian tax system to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in full-cycle bookkeeping, personal tax preparation, and compliance with Canadian tax regulations. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role. Russian/Ukrainian languages as well as strong English communication skills both written and oral are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records for small and mid-sized business clients.
• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file personal tax returns (T1) and assist with corporate tax filings (T2).
• Ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations, including GST/HST, payroll remittances, and other statutory filings.
• Provide clients with support and training on QuickBooks Online, optimizing their accounting systems.
• Collaborate with the CPA team to prepare financial reports and ensure timely tax filings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, responding to inquiries and offering proactive advice.
