Requirements:
Keys to your success: Bachelor’s degree (or similar post-secondary education) in computer science or engineering, with demonstrated academic excellence; Minimum of 4 years of experience developing and testing control systems; Experience creating engineering documentation; In-depth knowledge of PLCs and SCADA programming and configuration, including familiarity with several IEC61131 languages; Confidence in client-facing situations; Results-driven and flexible, with a strong sense of ownership of tasks. Extra edge: Professional Engineer licence in Ontario (or pursuing); Experience in the nuclear industry; Commissioning and installation experience; Ability to design instrumentation and control systems, and familiarity using electrical drafting tools. Language skills - English: Proficient
Description:
As a control systems engineer, you will work as part of a technical project team on technically challenging and interesting projects, mostly within the nuclear industry, to deliver technical documentation, hardware, and software to clients. Your day-to-day: Produce requirements and design documents related to the project scope; Create testing documents as needed; Write code for PLCs, HMIs, and SCADAs (e.g., Schneider-Electric, Siemens); Run rounds of testing as required pertaining to the project scope.
