Number: 156 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Toronto Requirements: Keys to your success: Bachelor’s degree (or similar post-secondary education) in computer science or engineering, with demonstrated academic excellence; 10 to 15 years of experience developing and testing control systems, including managing large projects; Experience creating engineering design and test documentation; Recognized as a subject matter expert with in-depth design knowledge of PLCs and SCADA programming and configuration, including experience designing with several IEC61131 languages. Extra edge: Professional Engineer licence in Ontario (or pursuing); Experience in the nuclear industry; Commissioning and installation experience; Ability to design instrumentation and control systems, and familiarity with using electrical drafting tools. Language skills - English: Proficient Description: As a senior control systems engineer, you will work as part of a technical project team on technically challenging and interesting projects, mostly within the nuclear industry, to deliver technical documentation, hardware, and software to clients. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients. Your day-to-day: Provide leadership to technical design teams, guiding them through complex projects and fostering a collaborative environment; Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining the highest level of quality and safety in all deliverables; Engage with clients directly; Work independently with limited oversight; Develop technical proposals and estimates.
