Requirements: Key Competencies Required for This Position:
- Minimum 2-year college diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in Community Services, Logistics or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize multiple shifting demands.
- A commitment to operational excellence with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Advanced aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
- A self-starter and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Able to represent Routes organizational values of Inclusivity and Belonging, Compassionate Support, Collective Impact, and the Power of Community.
Description: Purpose: To support the effective delivery of transportation services by coordinating client requests, scheduling appropriate transportation services, and maintaining accurate program records. The role ensures timely communication with clients, service providers, and stakeholders while providing essential administrative support to facilitate the smooth operation of the transportation department.
Key Accountabilities Include, but are Not Limited to:

Receive client requests, confirm eligibility, and schedule client service.
- Schedule transportation services based on client needs, volunteer preferences, and the parameters of the service including but not limited to volunteer transportation, food deliveries, bus service and accessible vehicle transportation.
- Maintain database records for the transportation program.
- Contact service providers and external stakeholders as pertains to the transportation program and associated clients.
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operation of the transportation department.
Hours per week:
Rate of Pay: $46,000-$52,000/year.
