• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• A passion for working with children and a commitment to creating a positive camp experience.
• Must pass a background check and adhere to all camp policies and safety regulations.
Description: As the Camp Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of camp operations, including staff management, camper safety, activity coordination, and site maintenance. You will work closely with camp directors and staff to ensure a smooth and successful camp season.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage camp staff, including counselors, instructors, and support personnel.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for campers and staff.
• Coordinate daily camp activities and schedules, ensuring a variety of engaging and age-appropriate programs.
• Monitor camper behavior and intervene as necessary to maintain discipline and safety.
• Ensure all camp facilities and equipment are well-maintained and in good working order.
• Manage camper check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff to address concerns and provide updates.
• Enforce camp policies and procedures to ensure a consistent and respectful camp experience.
• Handle emergencies and incidents promptly and effectively, following established protocols.
• Oversee the setup and cleanup of camp activities and events.
• Manage inventory and supplies, placing orders as needed.
• Conduct staff training and evaluations as directed by the camp director.
• Assist with budgeting and financial management as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the camp director.
Hours per week: Monday-Friday 20-40 hrs/week
