Number: 307 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Mississauga Requirements: ● Prior cleaning experience (highly preferred) ● A high standard for cleanliness ● Attention to detail ● Ability to follow instructions ● Time-management skills ● Integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness to be left to work independently ● Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment ● Ability to read, write, and understand English in order to execute verbal or written instructions. ● Work knowledge of WHMIS ● Able to operate cleaning equipment safely ● Must have experience in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred. ● Good organizational skills. ● Ability to work under minimum supervision. ● Must have physical capability to do the job Working conditions/ requirements ● May be required to use various hazardous workplace materials such as environmentally safe and chemical cleaning products ● May be exposed to bio hazardous materials, requiring appropriate handling and disposal. Physical requirements ● Be able to perform many physical tasks that include lifting, walking, bending, and pushing. ● Be able to move heavy objects, operate equipment, and remain standing or walking for extended periods of time while on the job. ● Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly Description: To seek an Office Cleaner/Janitor that will be responsible for all the basic cleaning of the office building and maintain the sanitation of the facility in a neat and orderly manner. Duties and responsibilities Primary duties and responsibility include but are not limited to: ● Clean workspaces, common areas, offices, hallways, floors and bathrooms including dust and damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming carpeted areas and furniture, dusting, emptying bins, and spot cleaning glass and windows ● Restock bathrooms, kitchen, and lunchrooms with supplies including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, scrubbing sinks, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals. ● Keep track of cleaning schedule and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies. ● Transport dirty linens to the correct area to be cleaned ● Perform additional duties as needed. Hours per week: Monday-Friday (6am-2:30pm) 40 Rate of Pay: TBD
