Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Minimum 1 year of full time tactical Security Guard experience required
Excellent Customer Service and above-average computer skills
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate high attention to detail / observational awareness
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence and the ability to work productively and efficiently in a team
Working Conditions

Parking is not available at the site if you are driving.
Role is Patrol Guard in a Large Commercial Office Complex
Uniform includes Tactical boots, belt, Protective Vest (approx 15lbs of equipment) which are to be worn at all times on shift
Guards walk on average 25,000 - 30,000 steps per day, and are on patrol for approx. 6 hours in an 8 hour shift.
Required to work, if necessary, various rotating shifts on short notice and be available for work in a 24x7x365 environment.
Description: The employer is hiring multiple Full time Tactical Security Guards - Commercial Tower, Toronto Downtown (B2).
Major Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to all site employees and visitors
Observe and Report any hazards immediately
Patrolling Common areas, Food Courts, Retail Concourses to provide security to visitors, tenants and providing visible deterrence to trespassers.
Monitor CCTV surveillance systems
Maintain a detailed memo book and prepare incident reports on all matters dealt with
Screening unauthorized persons and physically removing unauthorized personnel found trespassing or engaging in criminal acts or breaching the policies. Legally arrest the individual and surrender same to Police as soon as possible.
Obtain statements and collect information for Incident
Logging in/out of Key, Radio, and pager audits
Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries
Report any unsafe working conditions in any/all departments
Ability to de-escalate a crisis situation, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including police, fire, and paramedic resources.
Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner so as not to create panic among the on-site public
Respond to all emergency response needs such as providing first aid, missing persons, etc
Other duties as outlined by management
