Number: 449 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Newmarket Requirements: • Painting, Industrial (Spray) Painting; • Paint Mixing; • Required to communicate with various departments; • Constant communication with Supervisor, Lead Hand and department employees. • Excellent communication skills required for the job. • Must be able to work in a team environment. • Must be able to take on leadership roles when required, directing Paint Prep employees in the event Lead Hand is absent; • Must be able to solve basic paint issues and be able to identify problems to Supervisor or Lead Hand. • Be able to work self-directed. • Be able to plan work daily including housekeeping tasks without direction. • Be willing to learn new paint methods, policies and procedures. • Medical testing as required. • Attend training for new policies and procedures as required. • Be able to maintain a safe work area without direction from Lead hand. • Identify quality issues and concerns. • Identify more efficient methods. • Fall Arrest Safety. • Bonding and Grounding. • Safe use of ladders. • Respirator Fit Test. Description: • Preparation and Painting of equipment and component parts. • Use of electrostatic paint or similar equipment to provide painted finish using various paints and paint methods. • Maintaining paint booth to company production and safety standards. • Ensure paint tools are kept clean and in good repair. Hours per week: 40 Rate of Pay: $19.75/Hour
