About the Role
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our operations team. This role supports the timely, on-budget delivery of projects while maintaining high standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, calm under pressure, and eager to grow into leadership roles such as project management.

Key Responsibilities
Perform administrative and coordination tasks as directed by the Project Manager

Promote and support a safety-first culture across all project sites

Organize and maintain accurate project documentation and communication

Assist with project startup requirements and documentation

Monitor and manage project changes related to scope, pricing, and scheduling

Prepare and submit monthly progress invoices and holdback claims

Review job sheets, subcontractor invoices, and progress claims for accuracy

Facilitate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and consultants

Conduct site visits and attend project meetings

Assist with procurement, pricing, and delivery of tender packages

Ensure quality control and adherence to specifications and timelines

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 1 year of construction experience (ICI, heavy civil, infrastructure, or related sectors)

Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

Familiarity with civil infrastructure, utilities, stormwater, earthworks, and site development

Working knowledge of aggregates, concrete, and asphalt

Ability to read blueprints, perform quantity take-offs, and interpret survey layouts

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new platforms

Valid Ontario driver’s license and ability to travel to active job sites

Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Team-oriented with positive attitude and leadership potential
