Number: 789 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Stouffville Requirements: Job Title: Staging Assistant Location: Stouffville Position Overview As a Staging Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience in the property staging process, learning how it differs from decorating and how to create appealing spaces for a wide range of potential buyers. You will assist with all aspects of staging, from selecting and packing inventory to transporting, setting up, and organizing properties. You will also help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure staging items remain in excellent condition. As you grow in the role, opportunities may arise to lead staging projects, particularly if you demonstrate strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills. You will also learn how to conduct property walkthroughs, capture detailed photos, prepare staging prep lists, and review materials with clients. In addition, you may assist with related services such as packing and cleaning when requested by clients. Key Responsibilities Assist with staging setup, including pulling and packing inventory, loading and unloading the company van, staging the property, and packing away returned items. Help maintain a clean, organized warehouse and ensure all staging materials are in good condition. Learn and apply staging principles to identify suitable color combinations, select decorative accessories, and create lifestyle setups. Conduct property walkthroughs, take photos, and prepare staging instructions for clients. Support additional client services such as packing and cleaning when needed. Provide coverage for the staging manager when required. Requirements Flexible availability: 0–30+ hours per week. Available Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–3:00 pm (some longer days as needed). Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Interest or prior experience in decorating/design is an asset. Willingness to learn and apply staging principles. Ability to identify basic color combinations and create lifestyle setups within 3 months. Proficiency with Google Suite and communication apps. Smartphone (iOS or Android) required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are an asset. Comfort with packing, cleaning duties, and following company standards. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
