Duties

Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.).

Cook food according to recipes or as instructed by the chef.

Plate and present dishes in an appetizing and consistent manner.

Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of food storage and preparation areas.

Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry.

Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.

Ability to handle and cook various types of food.

Strong understanding of kitchen operations and procedures.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Team-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy pots or trays.

Education & Certification

Secondary School (required).

Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler, or equivalent certification (required).
