Number: 776 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Stouffville Requirements: Health & Safety Coordinator About the Company: A leading group of construction and environmental services companies is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to support ongoing projects and maintain strong safety standards across all divisions. The organization is COR and ISO 45001 certified and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality work throughout the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. What You’ll Do Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards, signage, PPE, and permit requirements Support documentation and compliance related to COR and ISO 45001 certifications Assist with internal and external audits, inspections, and safety reviews Coordinate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions Maintain accurate records for inspections, incidents, and safety activities Participate in incident investigations and support corrective actions Collaborate with project teams and supervisors to promote a proactive safety culture Create and enforce Health & Safety plans for ongoing and upcoming projects Prepare and submit traffic control plans and safety-related documentation (e.g., ROPs) Plan and present company-wide Health & Safety meetings Perform additional safety-related tasks as required What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of experience in a health and safety role (construction or environmental services preferred) Familiarity with COR and ISO 45001 standards Strong understanding of Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Valid G-class driver’s licence and ability to travel to job sites Health and safety training or certification (e.g., JHSC, WHMIS) is an asset Why Join the Team Opportunity to work across multiple growing business divisions Supportive and flexible team environment Career development potential into senior safety or project roles Competitive pay based on experience Job Details Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Casual dress Company events Dental and extended health care Life insurance Vision care On-site parking Store discounts Experience Required: Health and Safety: 2 years (required) COR/ISO 45001: 1 year (required) Construction Health & Safety Coordination: 1 year (required) Licence: Valid Class G Licence (required) Work Location: In person Description: Hours per week: Rate of Pay:
