Number: 777 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Stouffville Requirements: Site Supervisor – Civil Construction About the Company: A growing civil construction firm specializing in earthworks, bridge construction, stormwater management, site development, and concrete works is seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to oversee field operations and ensure the successful completion of projects. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily field activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule Manage foremen and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and approved methodologies Conduct daily toolbox talks and progress meetings to plan and monitor execution with foremen Enforce compliance with COR/IHSA safety regulations and conduct regular site inspections Oversee equipment use, maintenance checks, and safety protocols Ensure operators complete required documentation such as circle checks, incident reports, time sheets, and daily logs Coordinate material deliveries, equipment tracking, and site security (cameras, lighting, fencing) Maintain daily logs, productivity reports, and site issue records using project management tools (e.g., BusyBusy, Acumatica PM) Provide daily progress updates to project management and support scheduling, budgeting, and project tracking Conduct inspections to verify compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements Qualifications Minimum 5 years of civil construction experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role on infrastructure, commercial, or institutional projects Strong knowledge of earthworks, grading, excavation, compaction, concrete forming, paving, and underground utilities Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications Experience with project management and tracking tools (e.g., Topcon GPS, MS Project, Bluebeam Revu, BusyBusy, or similar) Solid understanding of heavy equipment operation (excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders) and safety best practices Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple site operations independently Health and safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, First Aid, OSHA, COR/IHSA compliance) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed Why Join This Team Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive health benefits package Company-provided vehicle, laptop, and phone Opportunity to work on high-profile civil infrastructure projects across Southern Ontario Supportive leadership and strong potential for career advancement Job Details Job Type: Full-time Additional Pay: Bonus pay Benefits: Company car Company events Dental care Extended health care Vision care Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Experience Required: Civil Construction (North America): 3 years (required) Civil Supervisory Role: 3 years (required) Topcon GPS/Trimble: 1 year (required) Managing multiple construction crews: 3 years (preferred) Road building/reconstruction: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Location: Stouffville, ON (must be able to commute or relocate prior to starting) Description: Hours per week: Rate of Pay:
